Sandra Suarez Mendez

“My name is Sandra Suarez Mendez. I was born and raised here in the beautiful state of Colorado. I graduated from Vista in 2020, and only a couple of years later, I was allowed to come back as a paraprofessional. P.S. I loved it, and I now teach Digital Media (CAD) and Spanish. I enjoy coming to work daily, knowing I’m fulfilling something greater than myself. I get to see students leave with new knowledge that broadens their understanding of modern and historical concepts.

From helping with my family’s business from a very young age, I learned valuable communication skills. Every day, I strive to teach our students the importance of listening and understanding one another. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and included, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on our youth.”
