Vista Charter School is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in relation to disability, race, color, creed, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation (including transgender status), religion, age, national origin or ancestry, marriage to a coworker (in applicable circumstances), or any other status or class protected by local, Colorado state, or federal law.

Vista Charter School maintains a zero-tolerance policy strictly prohibiting all forms of discrimination based on any legally protected status. Furthermore, Vista Charter School’s anti-discrimination and harassment policies prohibit sexual harassment, inappropriate sexual conduct, and any form of retaliation against individuals who report misconduct or participate in an investigation.

The Title IX Coordinator oversees the school’s response to reports of sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and gender-based misconduct, and ensures compliance with federal and state laws.
